2K22 NBA COLLAB – Indigenous Designed Sneakers

A special collaboration with Gamilaroi and Wiradjuri Indigenous artist Allan McKenzie to celebrate leading basketball simulation video game series NBA 2K22. As part of the collaboration, McKenzie customised a pair of adidas Harden Stepback 2.0 basketball shoes and nominated Indigenous charity Red Dust to host an auction for the shoes. Red Dust will receive all the proceeds from the sale to help their mission to reduce chronic disease in Indigenous communities by focusing on physical activity, nutrition and hygiene.

Featuring Keira McGuire – who was a Bachelorette from 2014 The Bachelor Australia. She was super lovely to work with. The premise of the ad is Keira is being told by her date something truly shocking, as though she’s reacting to the realisation that she “forgot to check eBay”.
